The app: nothing is collected

The Circle the Moon app runs entirely offline on your device. It contains no accounts, no registration, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs and no internet connection requirement. It does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data — from you or from your child. What happens at bedtime stays on your device.

Because the app collects no data, there is nothing for us to sell, share, lose, or be asked to delete. Its App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".

Children

Circle the Moon is designed for young children and is built to the strictest reading of children's privacy law, including the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK/EU GDPR provisions on children's data — by collecting nothing at all. The app shows no advertising and contains no links out of the child's experience.

Purchases

Optional one-time purchases of additional lands are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's own terms and parental controls. We receive no payment details and no personal information about the purchaser.

This website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and contains no tracking of any kind. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes standard technical server logs — such as IP addresses — for security and delivery, retained briefly under their own privacy policy, as is the case for essentially every website. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting the font files from Google.

Your rights & contact

Under data protection law you have rights of access, correction and erasure. Since we hold no personal data about app users, these requests will usually be satisfied instantly and by design — but you can always write to us: craig@circlethemoon.app, or by post to Ruddock & Co Film Productions Ltd, Gibraltar.

If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it — and because the app cannot message you, no change can ever be silently applied to data we already hold; there is none.
